Bollinger La Grande Annee Rose 2002 Champagne

by winestore on December 18, 2010

An exceptional and special champagne, La Grande Année Rosé is a derivation from the blend of La Grande Année and is only produced when outstanding quality vintages occur. This makes the drinking of such a champagne a memorable and rare experience.

Tasting Notes:
A salmon pink hue which is reminiscent of peaches, the Grand Annee Rose is particularly charming champagne to behold. Its expressive palate involves notes of sweet red fruits, caramel and tangerine whilst including the deeper complexity of an alomost ‘nettly’ undertone. An animated nose conveyings scents of sweet strawberries, firm red fruits and blackberries. The lasting perfume of rose petels leads to a taste of complete elegance.

Grapes:
62% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay

Country of Origin: France

Region: Ay, Champagne

Alcohol: 13%
